Description The Wildfire GTX is a comfortable approach shoe with a versatile POMOCA Speed Mtn sole for grip, traction, safety and precision during technical approaches, crawling, crossing and climbing. It has a climbing zone in the toe area and offers high edge stability. The POMOCA Butilic rubber compound ensures a secure grip on dry and damp rock, the aggressive studs for improved traction on muddy, soft ground. We manufacture the shaft with a precise fit from robust mesh material and reinforce it with a 3D Exa Shell structure for increased torsional rigidity. In combination with the 3F system, it wraps the foot for flexibility, good fit as well as firm ankle and heel support. For damp weather, the Wildfire GTX is equipped with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining. The climbing lacing wraps particularly the forefoot and allows fine adjustment in the toe area for increased precision in technical terrain. A cushioning OrthoLite footbed keeps the foot cool and dry by wicking moisture away from it.
