The entire XEEN Cinema division of SAMYANG is designed to meet the special needs of film producers. Robust materials, uniform design and decoupled aperture and follow focus sprockets are just a few points that reflect the high standards of a video lens. The fast 20/1.9 XEEN cinema lens is full-frame, internally focussing and versatile due to its relatively wide image angle. Like all XEEN Cinema lenses, the XEEN resolves 20/1.9 with 4K and is identical in design to the other lenses in this line. This means that the installation length, housing diameter and fixed sprocket spacing for the aperture and focus ring are exactly the same for all models. So the lens change, whether in the rig or on the tripod, is quick and easy even with the Follow Focus System installed. As is customary with Cine lenses, a raterless and infinitely adjustable aperture with laterally readable aperture values and distance scale, as well as sprockets for focusing using follow focus, is a matter of course.
