As a source of energy, Hydro energy gel provides you with a combination of complex and simple carbohydrates, in the form of maltodextrin and dextrose, both of which absorb rapidly, releasing energy quickly. Hydro energy gel is also enriched with the branched-chain amino acids leucine, isoleucine and valine to protect your muscles against wasting. And it contains taurine and arginine to contribute to athletic performance.
