A development in which HELLA has long played a special role as an innovation leader in the field of automotive original equipment. The independent aftermarket also benefits from this long-standing original equipment expertise with the successful transfer of its OE know-how. The HELLA oil level sensor reliably and continuously measures the level of the most important operating fluid in a combustion engine - the oil. The oil level sensor also integrates a temperature sensor and the sensor electronics to transmit the values to the engine control unit. Reporting a low oil level to the driver in good time can prevent costly engine damage. The level sensor is also suitable for the reliable measurement of other operating fluids such as coolant or windscreen washer fluid.
