This solar filter is custom designed for Celestron 8” Schmidt-Cassegrain and EdgeHD telescopes like the C8 Optical Tube, 8” EdgeHD Optical tube, NexStar 8SE, NexStar Evolution 8, NexStar Evolution 8HD, Advanced VX 8” Schmidt Cassegrain and EdgeHD, CGEM II 8” Schmidt Cassegrain and EdgeHD, CPC 8” Schmidt Cassegrain and EdgeHD, and CGX 8” Schmidt Cassegrain and EdgeHD. There are two hook and loop straps to securely hold the filter in place for a safe, snug fit. The EclipSmart solar filter features an orange tint, producing a natural look perfect for visual observing and capturing images through your telescope.
