This card allows you to connect an NVME U.2 to a PCIe 4x, 8x or 16x port. Compatibility: Supports all current 2.5 inch U2 SSDs (e.g. Intel DC P3500/P3600/P3700, Samsung XS1715, OCZ Z-drive 6000, HGST Ultrastar SN100 etc.) for PCIe 4x port (4x, 8x, 16x compatible) Specifications: PCIe 4x3 0 (also possible with older PCIe standards, but throughput will be lower, see below). miniSAS connector SFF-8643 (V 3.5) on the PCIe card, connect to SSD U.2 via a SFF-8643 / SFF-8639 cable. Maximum data rate 32 Gbps at PCIe 3.0 / 16 Gbps at PCIe 2.0 / 8 Gbps at PCIe 1.0. The operating system must support U2 SSDs (Win 10, Win 8, Win 7 64 bit). ATTENTION: Not all BIOS support U.2 drives in NVMe format, you need a BIOS with UEFI. In addition, U.2 SSDs often require software installation: contact your SSD's manufacturer to be sure. Compatible with all 2.5" NVMe U.2 SSDs that use the SFF-8639 interface. Power the U.2 drive via the PCIe connector AND the 15-pin SATA power connector (the power supply via the PCIe port alone is not sufficient). Does not require drivers, works transparently for the operating system. The PCIe card comes with high profile angle and low profile angle. .

Key Features

This card will enable you to mount a U.2 NVME SSD on a 4x, 8x or 16x PCIe slot. Supports all current 2.5" U2 SSDs (e.g. Intel DC P3500/P3600/P3700, Samsung XS1715, OCZ Z-drive 6000, HGST Ultrastar SN100 etc.).

PCIe 4x 3.0 (can be used with older PCIe standards, but transfer rate will be lower, see below). miniSAS SFF-8643 (V 3.5) connector on PCIe card, connection to U.2 SSD via SFF-8643 / SFF-8639 cable. Maximum data rate 32Gbps in PCIe 3.0 / 16 Gbps in PCIe 2.0 / 8 Gbps in PCIe 1.0

Compatible with all 2.5" U.2 NVMe SSDs using the SFF-8639 interface. Does not require a driver, works transparently with the operating system.

Power supply for the U.2 drive from the PCIe slot AND from the SATA 15-pin power connector (power from the PCIe slot alone will not be sufficient). The PCIe card is supplied with a high-profile bracket and a low-profile bracket.

Operating system must support U2 SSDs (Win 10, Win 8, Win 7 64 bit) CAUTION: Not all BIOSes support U.2 drives in NVMe format. You will need a BIOS with UEFI. In addition, software installation is often necessary with U.2 SSDs: contact the manufacturer of your SSD to make sure.
