Sika Multiseal SG Band Waterproofing, Grey, 30 cm, 12 ml

Sika Multiseal SG is a self-adhesive bituminous strip made of modified bitumen without armor, provided on one side of a lacquered aluminium sheet and a removable silicone plastic protective film for fire-free. It is used with sealer and repairer to prevent water ingress and/or leaking for covering repairs including sheet metal, fissures in buildings, bituminous sheets and other types of cover and finials, gutters. Technical information: Fire rating: Class E Application temperature: min. +5°C / max. +30°C Application method: loose or poorly adhered particles, grouts, paints, should be removed for proper use by manual preparation or appropriate mechanics. Metallic, plastics must be cleaned with solvent. On porous surfaces (mortar, plaster, etc.) we recommend priming with a bituminous emulsion (e.g. Igol A) Allow the primer to dry for at least 1 hour before applying the band. Cut the required length of the self-adhesive strip, remove the protective film and press the band firmly onto the holder with a roller. All joint joints must overlap a minimum distance of 50 mm. Note: The adhesion on the carrier can be increased by applying heat to the band, using a hot and dry air equipment. It is not advisable to seal gaskets with pressure water. Due to the bituminous content of the band, paints, plastics and natural stones may discolour.
