The roots of the traditional North Italian company Roces date back to 1952, the year of its founding. So the experience in this segment dates back to 1978, when the first plastic hard shell ice skate in the world, the Roces "Jet", introduced a product that shaped a whole market for decades. The patent for adjustment was registered in 1992, in 1994 the system was first introduced on a children's inline skate. This model is still available today. We successfully transferred the technical principle of this patented size adjustment to children's ski boots in 2006.
