Multi Protector is without a doubt one of the most complete and functional ranges around. Multi Protector ensures wearer comfort, safety, functionality and superb industrial laundry behaviour all combined into one garment. When we first started back in 2008 our main focus was the oil & gas industry. This was the basis for the Flamebuster range. Based upon Pyrovatex technology this range offers the best protection against heat and flames, claims which are supported by many burn injury test reports. However…when besides protection against heat and flames industrial welding and grinding comes into play and then cotton fabrics – apart from the Arcbuster range – are less suitable for the job. Welding and grinding will result in fabric damages by means of hole formation which will fray out resulting in even bigger holes. It is common knowledge that cotton / polyester blends are more suitable for welding and grinding because of the polyester which keeps the little holes from fraying out. The biggest issue with cotton / polyester is the high burn injury percentage which potentially could result in dangerous fabrics.
