MANNOL Hypoid gear oil, 80W-90 API GL 4/GL 5 LS, 1 litre

A universal, year-round, mineral-based gear oil. It is designed for hypoid wheels that can withstand extreme loads; in heavily loaded oblique, cylindrical and auger pairs. It is recommended for use in differential gears (including excessive friction - LS). It can be used for all types of manual transmissions, including those that withstand extremely heavy loads and high temperatures, as well as in other transmission parts where extreme pressure and shock loads are present. Product features: - The high-quality, unique base with optimal viscosity in a wide temperature range, combined with a latest generation additive package in a high concentration, provides superior gliding properties, which allows significant fuel saving; - Due to its balanced composition, it ensures excellent anti-wear and superior anti-feed properties, extending the life of equipment in all, even the most extreme, operating modes in a wide range of ambient temperatures. The oil film has improved resistance to increased pressures and temperatures. It prevents pinching of the differential gears and reduces piston wear; - It ensures reliable operation of self-locking differential gears; - It offers the required low temperature characteristics that ensure sufficiently easy starting, reliable lubrication and, when using the manual transmission, an easy and precise gear change at any ambient temperature (up to -30 °C) and in any operating conditions; - It has improved thermal-oxidative stability, resistance to thermal degradation, aging and viscosity stability, which allows to increase the period between oil changes and reduce equipment maintenance costs; - It reduces noise; - It does not corrode non-ferrous metals; - It is compatible with sealing materials, avoids swelling, hardening and shrinking, reduces wear and therefore allows to reduce the cost of spare parts. It is intended for manual transmissions on passenger cars and heavily loaded manual transmissions for highway vehicles (trucks, buses, etc.), off-road vehicles (construction, mining, agriculture) and special vehicles built by European, American and Asian manufacturers where the required level of maintenance characteristics is MIL-L 2105 D.
