Product description ABUS GRWM30600 - Mini smoke detector with 10-year battery Over 500 people in Germany die every year as a result of a fire, 95% of which are caused by toxic smoke. Most fires are caused by technical defects such as cable fires. As the sense of smell also sleeps at night, most people only wake up when dense smoke makes orientation difficult and those affected can no longer get to safety in time. Toxic fumes lead to unconsciousness and ultimately even death after just three breaths. The ABUS mini smoke alarm provides an early warning of life-threatening smoke indoors. It recognises even the smallest smoke particles and warns residents of a developing fire early and effectively with a loud alarm. The detection area of the smoke alarm is up to 40 m² and is limited to the room in which it is installed. At least one detector must be fitted in the bedroom, children's room and hallway. In the living room, ceiling mounting is recommended. Unwanted false alarms can be silenced simply and easily by pressing the large test button. In the normal state, a red control LED flashes every 40 seconds, signalling that the detector is ready for use.
