Briefly: Positive result: All objects are identify ed and named Unclear result: Only one of the images is recognised Negative result: None of the three-dimensional images is recognised INDICATIONS FOR EVALUATION OF THE TEST: Suspected strabismus, amblyopia or reduced sight in one or both eyes or as a screening test for stereoscopic vision. If a child does not cooperate, the test can be shown and the tester can observe whether the child tries to grasp one of the objects apart from the ball (the fish, the star or the tree). If this occurs, the test is normal. If it does not happen, the test cannot be considered pathological for certain and may be repeated some time later.
