Sika Multiseal, Tear-resistant self-adhesive sealing strip, 300mm x 10m, Grey

SIKA Multiseal is a self-adhesive sealing strip made of aluminium foil reinforced with polyester film. Intended for outdoor application, it is waterproof, tear and cold resistant, and can be painted. It is used in new and repair to treat cracks, joints and fittings. It thus optimizes the tightness, while remaining flexible enough to adapt to temperature changes. Various applications; Ideal for sealing flashings, roof connections, chimney stumps, skylights, gutter and canopy repairs. Excellent adhesion for outdoor applications on most surfaces: concrete, cement mortar, stone, wood, glass, tile, fibre cement, zinc and aluminum, and most bituminous roofing products. Other applications = on terraces: sealing of flashing strips, acroteries, treatment of cracks and defective joints. Roof: sealing of emergences and masonry fittings (protection on banks and ridge surfaces, played with dormer windows, knots,...) repair of fibre-cement plates, tiles, canopies, gutters. On the facade: additional sealing under cladding, around water descents. Preparation of the support: - Remove any non-adherent or protruding parts and any product that may impair the adhesion of the tape - Dust very carefully - Dry if necessary - Degrease: closed supports (metals, glass) with acetone and aluminums lacquered with gasoline F - In cold weather at temperatures around Ines of +41 -0 °C. warm the supports and tape without damaging them using a hot air blower before gluing. Technical information: Surface weight: approx. 1.15 kg/m². Thickness: 1.1 mm. Flash point: greater than 100°C. Application temperature: from + 5°C to + 40°C.
