Great music at full turn is the concept of STEREO Best of Hearing Test LP. This double album offers 16 musical highlights from the STEREO listening test samplers I-VI in analog perfection. For this purpose, the vinyl discs run at 45 revolutions and thus offer maximum detail resolution, dynamics and vibrancy. When selecting the title, care was taken to ensure that each piece poses special sound challenges to the hi-fi system in addition to listening pleasure, so that with the Best of Hearing Test LP their skills can be explored. This also requires a special manufacturing quality. Thus, the press matrices of Pauler Acoustics in Northeim were cut using the Direct Metal Mastering process, DMM for short. The stitch carves the information instead of into a lacquer into a copper foil (see photo). This method does not produce pre- and post-echoes, improves tweeter reproduction and avoids annoying noise interference. It also reduces the necessary electroplating, which also keeps losses low. The pressing is done on 180 g of high-purity virgin vinyl. This also makes the STEREO Best of Hearing Test LP an exquisite collector's item for the analogue gourmet.
