Each dose of Pepto Bismol contains Bismuth Subsalicylate, a well researched active ingredient that works by coating your stomach and lower gut to relieve discomfort from overindulgence in food and drink. How to use Dosage: Take 1 dose (30 mL) every 30-60 minutes as needed, up to 8 doses in 24 hours. Safety warnings Not for children under 16 years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
