Description

Product Description A lay-on lid has a specially shaped rim so that it lies perfectly on the pan. Due to its weight, it sits tightly on the pot, without forming an airtight seal. When necessary, it can also be quickly set aside. Small holes in the WMF lay-on lids prevent an unwanted vacuum forming inside the pan. These holes ensure the controlled release of steam: no more rattling, no more boiling water splashing onto the hob. The stainless steel handle can easily be held when cooking, as heat from the lid is not transferred to the handle.
