Portwest FR36 Bizflame Work FR Trousers Elasticated Back Waist Multi Pocket

Bizflame Work FR Trousers These flame resistant work trousers are made from Bizflame Work fabric: 99% cotton with 1% carbon fibre at 330g. They provide protection against radiant; convective and contact heat, alongside certified protection against molten metal splash. The fabric is also rated UPF 40+ and blocks 98% of UV rays. For tasks involving aluminium splash, the EN ISO 11612 E3 rating gives the highest molten metal splash level within that standard. This garment is certified to EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 E3 F1, covering heat and flame performance for specified workplace hazards. An external standards label provides quick identification of the protection levels. The trousers are also certified to EN ISO 11611 Class 1 A1+A2 for welding and allied processes. EN 1149-5 certification confirms electrostatic dissipative properties, and the garment is suitable to be worn in an ATEX environment. CE Category III certification supports selection where documented protective clothing is required. Practical construction supports regular site use. Twin-stitched seams add durability at key joins, while the strong brass zip is designed for long-lasting service. Brass is used for the zip because it does not melt at the temperatures for which the fabric is rated. The elasticated back waist helps create a secure fit throughout active work. Four pockets provide storage for essential items, including a rule pocket and a back pocket. The external label can be read by a supervisor without removing the garment, helping protection levels to be checked quickly before work begins. Available in Navy, these trousers combine specified protective performance with useful everyday workwear details. Follow the stated washcare to maintain the garment: wash at a maximum of 40C on a mild process; do not bleach; do not tumble dry; iron at a maximum of 150C; and do not dry clean.
