This port is made from the very best selection of fruit from quinta do bomfim in pinhao. In classic years when dow's declare a vintage port, bomfim provides the backbone of these blends, but in the interim years the wines are usually of such a high quality that they are bottled as a single vineyard wine. The unique terroir and state of the art wine-making ensures that these wines are rich, opulent and with great tannic structure in true dow's style. Ruby colour with a red rim. Bomfim vintage 2001 shows a lovely bouquet of red fruits and spicy aromas. On the palate is full of jammy red fruit and notes of spices, mint and chocolate. Very long and slightly dry finish of spicy mint and black chocolate. Ingredients Contains SULPHITES
