Description

GeeFix is a versatile plasterboard cavity wall fixing which is easy to use for DIY and the Trade. It is suitable for use on all types of plasterboard, hardboard, plywood, sheet metal, chipboard, MDF, lath and plaster. The length of the backplate provides a large load bearing surface making it ideal for mounting heavy items such as flat screen TVs, radiators, cupboards, shelves, curtain rails, grab bars, mirrors and similar The curved design of the backplate enables it to fit into cavities as shallow as 30mm. When fixing smaller items, extra fixing points can be made in the backplate, this is particularly useful where fixing points are close together. Once installed with the screws provided, the centre screw can be replaced with other types of screws, hooks, decorative screws as required.

Each fixing can support 270Kg. Suitable for fixing heavy items such as flat screen TVs, radiators, cupboards, shelving etc

Designed for plasterboard cavity walls, the unique curved anchor can be inserted into a cavity wall with a minimum cavity of 30mm. They are not always suitable for dot and dab walls.

Once the fixings have been installed with the screws provided in our packs, the centre fixing screw can be replaced with longer and larger diameter screws (up to 8mm in diameter) to suit your installation. These larger screws will self-tap through the insert plug and into the anchor.

The length of the anchor (120mm x 20mm) can be used for additional securing points for smaller items where 2 fixing points are quite close together.

The only cavity wall fixing that can re-fix an installation in the same place where other types of fixing have failed and provide a stronger fixing than the original failed anchor.
