Made with simple, plant-based ingredients, Yutaka Panko is suitable for vegans and absorbs less oil than regular breadcrumbs, resulting in lighter, crispier meals every time. Directions: Tenderise Chicken/Firm Cotton Tofu/Aubergine. Dip in flour. Dig in beaten egg. (can be left out for vegan) Dip in Yutaka Panko Breadcrumbs. Add at least 5cm of cooking oil to the deep fry pan and bring to 175°C. Deep fry for 6-8 minutes or until golden. Place on kitchen paper to remove excess oil. If using chicken, make sure it's cooked thoroughly inside. Alternatively, the Panko Breadcrumbs can be added into minced meat (or vegan replacement) for some crunchiness or sprinkled as a topping on your favourite salad.
