Description

8617 is a zinc oxide-free thermally conductive paste. It is designed to reduce thermal resistance between irregular metal surfaces. It is most commonly used to improve heat flow between heat sinks, LEDs, motors, and heat-generating electronic components such as CPUs, GPUs, and power components. The 8617 super thermal grease III is non-regulated for air and marine transport because of its silicone and zinc oxide free properties. This formulation has low thermal resistance and is non-corrosive. It uses An extremely thermal stable synthetic oil base that is electrically insulating.
