This LED Lux meter with 3 3/4-digit LCD display (max. 3999) is a precise measuring device, which is suitable for measuring the lighting intensity of LED lights, fluorescent or conventional filament lamps in different light colours. The measurement is done in Lux (lx) or Footcandle (fc) or Candela (cd). Simple luminometers are usually only suitable for measuring normal light from filament lamps with a colour temperature of 2856 K and provide inaccurate measurement results for different colour temperatures. On the other hand, the PeakTech 5086 can be adjusted to different light source factors to measure e.g. different neon bulbs, filament lamps, red, blue, yellow or daylight LEDs. The device has 10 freely adjustable correction factors for different light sources, 99 memory slots for readings and other meaningful measurement functions, such as a minimum and maximum value function or data hold, making it ideal for professional use in occupational safety or evaluating lighting systems.
