The shaft is DWR treated for water repellency and easy cleaning, while a rubber toe protection and a bonded TPU heel area increase durability and abrasion resistance. A closed stretch knit ankle cuff provides superior comfort and additional support and protection from slipping out on the trail. All of this is based on a robust Easton EC70 carbon fibre sole that provides rigidity at the highest level, and a robust Vibram rubber outsole that provides protection and grip when you're not sitting on the bike.
