Description

The M4700 marten deterrent is an ultrasonic device with 6 sliding stainless steel contact plates which can be positioned as needed along the high Voltage cable. This makes installation very easy. The device is waterproof to IP65 standards and features a special piezoelectric ultrasound high-performance speaker with a plastic membrane (to protect against moisture). very low power consumption at Max. 5.5 MA. Automatic activation (When terminal 15 is off). simple plug connection between the Control unit and the cable harness. Device can be connected directly to the battery. E1 certified. Function: the device produces ultrasonic waves at an acoustic pressure of approx. 105 DB. The contact plates also produce an Electric shock If touched. This is not harmful to the animals, but deters them. These very careful animals will avoid your vehicle in future and give it a wide berth. The very strong, pulsing ultrasound waves (inaudible to humans) make the martens distrustful of your vehicle. This combination of ultrasound and Electric shocks from the contact plates makes the marten deterrent very effective. Martens are curious by nature, but also very careful creatures.
