To achieve the best results possible it is essential to work a tension swatch before starting to work garment to establish the right size of needles and hook for your work. If you have too many stitches to 10cm then you need to use a larger size, if you have too few stitches then use a smaller needle or hook. Join all your seams using mattress stitch remembering that the fabric is flexible so be careful not to sew too tightly and to keep the stitching fairly loose.
