Description

The digital voltage detection relay (DVSR) allows you to charge a second battery bank from any charging source. When the voltage in the charged bank rises sufficiently, the DVSR is activated so that the second power bank is charged. When charging stops and voltage drops, the DVSR automatically isolates the battery bank and ensures that the starter batteries are fully charged. Digital circuits provide superior reliability and extremely low power consumption. Digital improvements have introduced remote detection circuits that allow an optional connection from the ignition switch to provide the same functionality as VSR with unique senses and zero power consumption when the engine is off. Another advantage is zero standby power consumption when the remote detection circuit is used with an installed memory mode switch (switch in open position).
