The valve box can be used both above ground and buried underground, and has a IP68 rating - The maximum rating for protection against water, moisture and dust. The valve box is compact in size, and contains a water timer and 4 solenoid valves. The timer is battery operated so does not need connection to a main supply - the power provided by two 1.5V AAA batteries is enough to last a whole season of watering. The Hydro-4 has the ability to serve up to 4 irrigation lines at a time, allowing you to control separate areas of your garden independently. Each irrigation line can have up to 2 programs for up to 8 watering cycles per day, each cycle from 1 to 60 minutes. Cycles can be set on a weekly basis, with the ability to exclude single days. The timer has a simple programming procedure, using just 3 buttons with a large display. Each line has a on/off control for when the line is not in use. The timer also has wireless connection to radio frequency of the Claber Rain Sensor. The inlet and outlet connections are 3/4" BSP Male, compatible with 1/2" to 3/4" garden or supply hoses using quick-click or push-in couplings. The system can be used to supply above-ground, pop-up or micro sprinklers - Ideal for lawns, beds and borders, potted plants, hedging and vegetable plots.
