The Grovana 1621.9577 is a Swiss made, 46mm diameter over-sized sports chronograph. With a 316L (surgical grade) stainless steel case with IP black finish, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, Swiss Ronda 5040.B quartz chronograph movement and 100 metre water resistance, the Grovana 1621.9577 is not only a well-built Swiss timepiece with an impressive specification, it's also a really great looking watch. The black genuine carbon fibre dial has 3 silver sub-dials at 3 (seconds time of day), 6 (chrono tenths of second), 9 (chrono minutes) and big date window at 12. Chrono seconds is indicated by the red-tipped centre seconds hand. The high-quality black leather croco-print strap has red stitching to match the chrono seconds hand and is extremely comfortable to wear. The protected crown is a screw down design, which helps give the 1621.9577 a water resistance of 100 metres. The pushers above and below the crown are used to start, stop and reset the chrono.
