Product Description Jiffy Pellets are used for starting seeds and for rooting cuttings. Soak pellets in tap water, as soon as they have expanded, remove from water. Squeeze to introduce air and prevent water logging. Create a small hole and insert your seed or cutting. Place pellet in a propagator under 18/24 hours of light a day. Just remove your propagator lid once a day to clean lid and gently mist and watch your seedling/cutting establish itself. Jiffy 7 pellets have been proven over many years by growers worldwide. They are wrapped in a thin, bio-degradable net and have a pH of approx 5.3. Jiffy 7's are supplied dry and will expand to their usable size once wetted up. They offer free air-pruned root development and their fertiliser incorporation gives improved initial growth. Using these coco plugs minimises root disturbance and reduced transplant shock when 'potting up' (moving a young plant from e.g. a propagator to a plant bed). Directions 1.
