It is an ideal filter for regular use as it is completely colourless so does not affect colour reproduction. Interchangeable lenses are required to perform their best in different shooting conditions and this protection filter will certainly ensure their performance to the fullest. Optimised design for SIGMA lenses Design that is conscious of optical quality - This filter has been specifically designed to avoid vignetting, the decrease in peripheral light. Ultra Low-reflection By incorporating Sigma's Super Multi-Layer Coating, the filter reduces flare and ghosting. In addition, black rimmed glass eliminates unnecessary internal reflections, and provides high performance for both digital cameras and film cameras. Newly designed case for safety and utility Thanks to Elastomer resin, filters do not move in the case even when it is carried around.
