The piezoelectric part of the NG-1 is covered in mahogany to reproduce the sound of the acoustic guitar as clearly as possible. Setup is very simple: simply loosen the guitar strings, slide the NG-1 pickup under the strings and re-string. The delivery includes a cable for connecting the NG-1 pickup to a DI, amplifier or mixer. The jack connector can be easily installed using the included Velcro strap without damaging the cello.
