Flensted Mobiles Flensted Mobiles is a small family business in Frederiksminde on the Danish island of Fünen. At Mobiles, the company is very large, so Flensted is one of the world's leading suppliers of these balanced decorative highlights. Unusual for Danish companies is the high export share, which is over 90%. Christian Flensted founded the mobile label in his home in 1956. He was an entrepreneur and artist at the same time. It is particularly difficult to balance the mobile so that they get the typical light and floating appearance. Therefore, Christian designed almost all mobiles himself. Later, the company moved to an old school in Frederiksminde, where it is still today. In the 1970s, his son took over the direction of the mobile makers at Fünen. The family lives and works to this day in the old and beautiful school building. There the hangers and some decorative elements are manufactured, managed, material ordered, stored, shipped and designed. The small works of art (but can also be very large) are mounted by many DIY enthusiasts. These also pack the finished mobile in beautiful gift boxes. From the old school they are then sent to the whole world.
