Flowers of sulphur is used as a dust treatment for flower bulbs to prevent rot and provide essential nutrients. When added to soil or growing media, it can rapidly correct PH levels to balance alkaline soils.

Sulphur in plants helps form important enzymes and assists in the formation of plant proteins, particularly chlorophyll, as well as acting as a soil conditioner. It can help reduce the sodium content of soils. Sulphur in plants is a component of some vitamins and is important in helping give flavour to mustard, onions and garlic.

An effective treatment when applied to dogs in a powdered puffer. Make sure all skin folds are treated and anywhere where there are red patches. It will help to keep away fleas and the rashes/allergies they bring.

For horses, a small amount used daily will help with itchy conditions when applied as an ointment. It can also help with mud fever and mite infestations, and be used as an antiseptic & anti-fungal treatment.

Flowers of sulphur can also be used in natural mineral makeup.
