The side rail is 19mm thick with a 30mm base slat support rail, this is screwed on not glued as with a cheaper import beds. The base has a strong centre rail supported by metal brackets with centre leg The side rails are support by additional centre legs for added strength. The corner posts are 60mm thick, nice and chunky. The product is sold for easy home assembly xxx This sale INCLUDES a Quality 10" thick hypoallergenic tufted sprung mattress with damask covering. Includes a high quality 12.5 gauge open coil Bonnell spring unit, the springs are again bordered with a wire frame, for improved edge-to-edge support. The mattress is upholstered in a soft beige coloured Damask material and is Deep Quilted. This is rated medium to firm.
