Product Description Authentic terracotta, extremely versatile, extremely well priced, does what cast iron does at about 1/3 the price. Ideal for mediterranean style cooking. A beautiful two-tone effect of a dark base and a lighter overlay colour.Depth - 19cm, Width - 21cm (excluding handles), Capacity - 800ml. CARE INSTRUCTIONS COOKWARE: Before use for the first time, wash and soak in warm water for 5 to 10 minutes, this is to stress relieve the product, it can then be used quite normally. The more you use it the more ‘cured’ it becomes and the better it gets. Suitable for Direct heat * on gas & electric hobs, in all ovens including Agas and microwaves. Safe up to 250C. Take care when using a ceramic hob to avoid scratches. Avoid sudden changes in temperature. Can be used in dishwashers & freezers and virtually non-stick, just soak in hot water and wipe clean. After use wash, dry thoroughly and store in well-ventilated surroundings. * Please note that rectangular dishes and those dishes with a diameter of less than 15cm should not be used on direct heat. Use of a diffuser or the largest hob size is recommended for large tagines and bowls. SERVEWARE: Decorated bowls are not suitable for cooking but can be warmed in the oven for serving.
