This is a high grade 2. 2uF 400V Bipolar Axial MKP (Polypropylene film) Capacitor suitable for audio coupling between stages in hi-fi or guitar valve amplifiers, radios, radiograms or any high voltage circuit, or for use in crossover networks in hi-fi loudspeakers. These capacitors have an extremely low dissipation factor, higher dielectric strength than polycarbonate and polyester films, low moisture absorption, and high insulation resistance. The dielectric film benefits from self-healing technology to improve reliability. When used in a crossover in series with a tweeter, this value will give a 4. 5KHz crossover point in a 16 Ohm system and a 9KHz point for 8 Ohm speakers.
