Tumbling tom red cherry tomato seed by Mr. Fothergill's. For baskets and tubs. Ideal for baskets and containers from which it will gently tumble. Produces lots of sweet, medium-sized cherry fruits. Determinate. Useful Information: Suitable for hanging baskets; Vitamin C; Suitable for contained gardens Sow and grow: Sow indoors March-April. A warm kitchen windowsill is all you need for starting these seeds. Sow thinly, 0.5 cm (1/4-inch) deep, in a pot of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20 degree C (60-68 degree F) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 7-14 days. Transplant to individual pots when 10-15 cm (4-6-inch) tall. Grow on in cooler, but not cold conditions. Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out May-June into fertile compost in patio tubs with drainage holes or baskets, when frosts are over. Harvest: August-October. Hints and tips: Little space - no problem: Specially selected to grow in containers or small garden spaces, so good crops of tasty, nutritious vegetables can be harvested from your patio, balcony or courtyard.
