A Honeywell filter, in combination with a respiratory interface (full face mask or half mask) or with a powered filtering device incorporating a helmet or a hood) provides a respiratory protective system. Respiratory protective devices filter the breathing air and withhold parts that are harmful to health (particles, gases, vapours). CO will not be filtered. Particle filters will only filter particles. Gas filters will only filter gases and vapours.

With very toxic products, it is preferable to use the filter only once.

Filters that are used in pairs must be changed at the same time.
