3M(TM) disc sander. 3M(TM) got the right angle right on this new 2-inches diameter, 0.5 HP disc sander for metalworking. Features adjustable directional exhaust. 7 degree offset head. Roloc disc pad included. Designed for superior motor function and smooth operation, accurate speed control and noise and vibration reduction. Features 97 degree head for decreased wrist strain. Direct mount for use with 3M, Roloc Backup pads without using a collet. Air inlet thread 1/4 in NPT. Applications such as adhesive removal, coating removal, contour finishing, deburring edges, defect repair/leveling, edge beveling, edge chamfering, paint stripping, prepping metal prior to paint, radiusing, right angle grinding, sealant removal. Application category adhesives, coatings, sealant corrosion removal, blending/deburring, finishing/polishing, grinding/metal stock removal, paint prep, finish and repair. Converted form power tool, disc sander type equipment. Industries applications aerospace, aoem, composite, general industrial, metalworking, mro, paint preparation, transportation and heavy equipment. 20000 rpm maximum speed.
