Description

Mepitel minimises pain to the patient and trauma to the wound during dressing changes. Safetac technology prevents Mepitel from sticking to the wound bed yet adheres gently to the surrounding skin. It is also adherent on the outer side, which allows easy application of a secondary dressing. Mepitel can remain in place for up to 14 days which allows undisturbed wound healing when used in conjunction with a simple secondary pad, such as Mesorb. In addition, topical treatments may be applied through Mepitel whilst in situ.
