Product Description The FVT-2401 SMF SC media converter can convert network signals between copper and fiberglass based networks. The converter is equipped with a 10/100Base-TX RJ45 port, supports full duplex and half duplex switch connectivity and automatic 10Base-T and the media converter FVT-2401 SMF SC can convert network signals between copper and fiber based networks. The converter is equipped with a 10/100Base-TX RJ45 port, supports full duplex and half duplex switch connectivity and automatic 10Base-T and 100Base-TX detection. When used in multi-mode with fibre optic cabling, the network range can be extended to up to 40 km. The device has integrated dip switches for easy converter configuration, based on the intelligent LFP (Link Fault Pass-through), which allows the converter to monitor both fibre and copper connections for signal loss. The FVT-2401 can work at temperatures from -10 ° to 55 ° Celsius. The converter can be used as a standalone system or as a plug-in module in the CHV-2000 19-inch converter rack that can hold up to 14 devices for use in a central distribution cabinet.
