Description

The voltameter of Hofmann is used to determine the chemical composition of the water according to the volume. The apparatus is composed of three connected vertical glass pipes, between them in bottom. To end in excess of external hose taps are closed, while the inner cylinder is open in high, to allow for the addition of water through a tank. Electrodes In Gold Foils are external to the lower end of the tubes and connected to a low voltage DC power unit.
