Vintage gramophone reminiscent of those swingin' years, with beautiful wooden casing. As you can see from the photos, this is a stunning ornamental piece with a real antique touch. As this is principally an ornamental item, it works within certain limits and does not play LPs at the correct speed. For a casual listen to remind you of the good old days, however, it is absolutely great. It can be wound up with a crank at the side to resound the music loudly through the horn. There is an integrated speed adjuster in addition to a stop controller. This gramophone can be opened up and spare needles and a record are included in purchase. Quite simply a beautiful ornamental gramophone that will take pride of place in your interior design. This item is hand-finished using traditional methods to give an authentic antique look. This means that any patinas and vintage touches are intentional. Each exemplar is therefore slightly different. The dimensions are as follows: height with horn 2’4" (70cm), base 14.5x14.5" (37x37cm). Other visible objects serve for size comparison only and are not included in purchase.
