The BASIC is a compact ascender that fits well in the hand for rope ascents. The lower attachment hole is large enough to accept carabiners for the lanyard and the footloop.

Can be used for ascending a fixed line or as a progress-capture device in a haul system. For use on 8 to 11 mm diameter ropes.

Toothed cam with self-cleaning slot optimizes performance under a variety of conditions (such as frozen or dirty ropes).

Lower attachment hole is large enough for two carabiners (lanyard and foot loop).
