Supplementary Information: Carrot Sun products contain a natural tan-accelerating agent called L-Tryrosine. L-Tyrosine is an amino acid which promotes and stimulates the production of melanin in the skin upon exposure to the sun or sunbeds. Melanin is the pigment responsible for the tanned colour of your skin, and also protects your skin from UV rays. The presence of L-Tyrosine in our tanning formulas means that less time is needed on a sunbed or in the sun to achieve your desired colour. Carrot Sun enhances your colour to a beautiful golden shade, and locks it in for a supremely long-lasting tan. VITAMINS, CAROTENOIDS, and ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS nourish skin, and ANTIOXIDANTS protect skin from UV ray-induced free radicals. Wheat germ oil contains high levels of antioxidants, which combat free radicals and have anti-ageing properties. carrot oil contains carotene antioxidants, vitamin A, and omega-3 fatty acids, which have moisturising and cell-regenerative properties. Indications For use in the sun and on sunbeds. Ingredients Cetearyl, Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Parafinum Liquidium, Almond Oil, Carrot Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Petrolatum, Perfume. Also contains L-Tyrosine. Directions Apply the cream evenly on clean, dry skin. Allow it to absorb completely before dressing. Use in conjunction with fair skin that already has a base tan or olive skin for best results. Avoid contact with eyes. Safety Warning Carrot Sun products do not contain any SPF (sun protection factor), but can be used in conjunction with SPF containing lotions without interfering with their effectiveness. It is recommended that an SPF-containing cream be applied to the skin prior to the application of Carrot Sun products, or that you have a base tan prior to their use, in order to tan safely and responsibly.
