In states of irritation and combined injuries affecting the wrist and trapeziometacarpal and metacarpophalangeal joints of the thumb, ManuRhizoLoc immobilizes the wrist and, thanks to a splint, keeps the thumb in a relaxed position. The construction can be individually adapted to the progress of therapy by gradually increasing the freedom of movement of the metacarpophalangeal joint and, in the end, removing the brace from the thumb. SPECIFICATIONS Stabilising brace to immobilize the wrist with thumb attachment in functional position. It has an anatomical central shaft that stabilizes the wrist joint in a functional position. The orthosis allows very stable fixation of the thumb with adjustable length and removable by cold-formed aluminum rods. The movement of the metacarpophalangeal joint is adjustable thanks to the Velcro thumb strap. It is made of high quality materials, which sweat and wick away moisture, providing great comfort.
