First ensure you have an NFC enabled smartphone (such as the Samsung Galaxy S3, Nexus S, Sony Xperia S and HTC One X), and then download the app FREE from the Android Playstore and follow the instructions. You will be asked for your personal information such as name, date of birth, gender and height. There is further good news if you are less technically proficient – there is no pairing, cable or other connection that needs setting up. The only time you will even need a password is when you create a FREE Microsoft HealthVault account to upload your data to your PC. You will then be free to review your data on either the A&D app or on the HealthVault website. Rest assured – none of the information you upload or enter into the app or elsewhere can be used by anyone except for you and those people you choose to share it with. As with any professional-standard medical equipment, it is important that the UA-767NFC is used correctly in order to obtain accurate results. First, ensure that the cuff is fitted correctly. The white dot near the air tube should be aligned on the inside of the arm, about 2-3 cm (one inch) above the elbow. It should be fitted snugly but still with just enough space to slide two fingers between the cuff and the arm. To upload the results, open the app and place your phone on the Wellness Connected logo on the right hand side of the face plate of the BP monitor. If the sound on your phone is switched on, you’ll hear the confirmation sound followed by a beep and you will see the results appear on screen.
