Our Monroe spring range, which is installed in most cars currently on Europe's roads includes high-tech spiral springs such as the side load compensation spring or the taper wire and mini block springs. Spiral springs Monroe side load compensation springs work with radial force and ensure optimal vehicle control at all speeds thanks to their special shape. Consequently, the spring rate increases proportionally to the compression rate of the spring. Monroe miniblock springs embody a further evolution of the taper wire nib type: they are shaped like a rugby ball and have a longer life and compact dimensions. In addition, the compression of the mini block spiral springs is smoothly without touching and therefore silent (no spiral spring ends coming together next to each other). These increasingly popular springs are mounted only on rear axles and thus provide more space in the boot. Mini block springs are installed as original equipment in popular car models such as Audi A3 and A6, BMW 3 Series, Opel/Vauxhall Zafira and VW Golf and Passat.
