Bora Bora Sand from PreisAquaristik is a very fine white substrate made of calcium and magnesium compounds ideal for saltwater aquariums. The manufacturer recommends a height of 2-3 cm. At this height, detritus can be swirled out with good flow and nitrate accumulation in the substrate is avoided. Also ideal for mixing DSB filter systems; here the substrate should be at least 8-20 cm. Bora Bora Sand is made from a very pure rock material that does not emit nitrate, phosphate or silicate.
