Product Description The GenuTrain S Pro side joint splints feature adjustable joint. In combination with two non-elastic straps at the calf and thigh, they are a safe guide to the moving knee joint. Depending on the position of the joint, splints can limit the flexion and extension angle of the leg. This limitation of movement serves to correct incorrect movements and takes care of the knee in certain phases of therapy. FEATURES Knee orthosis made of elastic fabric and anatomical design, with lateral straps with flexo-extension control and memory pad integrated in the fabric surrounding the patella exercising a massage for the resorption of edema and bruises. The tissue carries compression to stimulate proprioception and facilitate joint recovery. It has an inelastic strap system with Velcro closure for added stability. Colour: beige. Size choice: The size is based on the circumference of the thigh, the first measurement shown as the upper circumference and the second is the bottom circumference. STEPS FOR CORRECT MEASUREMENT: Place the leg at a 30 degree angle as shown in the picture. To obtain the circumference below, measure 12 cm below the knee. To achieve the circumference above, measure 14 cm above the knee. Having the two measuring points (bottom circumference and top circumference), you only have to measure both and look for the measurements in the table to select the most suitable size. The limitation of the joint allows for a therapeutic restriction of the mobility of the knee joint. The combination of joint splints and inelastic belts gives greater passive stability to the knee joint.
